I studied at Otago Polytechnic and graduated with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies with merit in 2021. During my final year of study, I had the opportunity to start part time work under Stef and was brought on full time in 2022, where I have continued to work on a range of residential alterations & extensions, new builds & light commercial projects.
During my time working for Black Box Architecture (formally Spotted Ink), my former Polytech lecturers approached me to take part in an Architecture edition journal that furthered my research in my undergraduate year of study, where I developed a framework of ‘Place-Continuum’ focused on exploring cohesion between existing place, architectural form & human identity. The journal, known as Scope; Contemporary Research Topics was published in August of 2024.
My time at Black Box Architecture has helped me to develop my design & construction knowledge, I’m passionate about attention to detail and excited to grow alongside the team around me to create well-designed spaces for our clients.
